Day 9: The monkey gave us sleeping pills

Monday morning Richard was to wake us up at 5:30am to see the sunrise, but I think that damn monkey came on board and put a sleeping pill in our flavoured water. We only woke up at around 11:30AM which left us enough time to shower and head down for the 12 o’clock lunch. After lunch, I read while some slept.

Supper was soup followed by rice and chicken. At both the lunch and after dinner the 2nd Officer talked to us for long periods about Iran and life in general. It was obvious that he was enjoying the conversation as much as we were! We all took an early night.
